The chart illustrates the unemployment rates of females in the year 2013 and 2014. The data is from 4 countries of the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). This is the United Kingdom. Units are measured in percentage of females unemployed in the two years.
Overall, the highest unemployment figures reported in United Kingdom was from England and Scotland respective for the years 2013 and 2014. On the contrary, the lowest rate of unemployment figures for females was from Wales in the year 2013 and for 2014 Northern Ireland recorded the least rates.
In terms, for the year of 2013, the highest unemployment rates depicted in the chart is at 6.8% by England and the least by 5.4% by Wales. All percentages dropped in 2014 in comparison to 2013 except for Scotland which stood at 6.7% compared to 6.1% in 2013, marking an increase and slotting Scotland at the top position for female unemployment. The Northern Ireland marked the lowest rate compared to the other 3 countries at 4.6% for 2014.
