Overall, it is clear that the number of women membership rose significantly, the opposite was true for men fitness membership. Also, in 2010 the figure for both women and men was higher during.
In 1985, the males accounted for over 2000 member in Thailand as opposed to around 1300 female member. over the following five years, both groups increased, the percentage of men stood at about 3800 members, 2 times as much as that of 1800 women member. Ten years later, while the number of women rose to 2800 members, male’s figure falling to 1800 members. Between 2005 and 2015, the proportion of two groups remained above 2000 membership. After that, the number of males rose to the peak point to 5000 members, was around 1.5 times as much as that of females until 2010 before falling to 2000 members and 1000 members in women and men respectively.
