Overall, there were considerable down ward trend for the amount of petrol production while this figure for the others showed a slight improve over the period. Another interesting point is that the amount of fossil fuel made up the majority proportion of the total energy produced.
Looking at details, in 1995 the quantity of gas, coal and petrol are manufactured at the same level, about a third of total energy production in France. This figures for petrol fell down dramatically to 19, 55% meanwhile, both gas and coal production experienced a marginal improvement, increasing by 1% each.
On the other hand, nuclear and other power just made up a small proportion, at 6.4% and 4.9% in turn. However, this figures doubled remarkably to 9.1% for other power compared to 10.1% of nuclear power.
