A friend of yours is going on holiday soon and has asked you to recommend a destination. Write a letter to your friend and recommend a good place for a holiday that you have visited before. Say where you went, where you stayed, what you can do there and what the food was like.
Dear Kelly,
Hope things are fine at your end! I am glad to hear that you finally decided to have a short break from work and take your family on a vacation. I would certainly share my favorite vacation spot which I took last year.
To begin with, it is a great idea to travel to an unknown land and bag up some new adventurous experience. Thus, we chalked out a plan to visited Bintan-Island last year. Though being a small island in Indonesia, you could find frequent ferries from Singapore with less than an hour ride and tickets are easily available throughout a year, along with hassle-free visa on arrival.
Furthermore, this destination is a weekend gateway for Singaporeans who want to relax and enjoy white sandy beach with clean blue water. Still, you would be surprised to find easy availability of rooms. We stayed at Bintan-Lagoon resort which had direct access to the beach as well as it had private swimming pools and water activities such as snorkeling, jet skies, underwater walk and many more. Children can also enjoy water slides and jungle gym with few elephant trail walks around.
Finally, all the resorts on that island offer an inclusive package of buffet breakfast and dinner for your stay. It serves you multi cuisine meal but I could still have a taste of their mouth-watering sea food which is must try.
Do convey my love and regards to your family.
With warm wishes,
Neha.
