The graph below shows the amount of money spent on books in Germany, France, Italy and Austria between 1995 and 2005
The line graph depicts the how much money was spent on reading materials in four European countries for ten tears from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, it can be seen that Germany spent the most on books during the entire period. Despite some fluctuations, it can also be seen that the money spent on books increased for all the four countries throughout the period.
Germany fluctuated between around $80million to almost $90 million between 1995 and 2003, when it increased significantly to $95million in 2005. France was the only country increased steadily over the ten years to reach just below$80million in 2005.
Italy hovered at around $50 million between 1995 to 1999. Then it increased dramatically to reach just over $60million in 2005. Australia started at $30million in 1995 and $10milion increased for the next few years. And for the next two years it stayed without any change at $40million. From 2001 it increased dramatically to reach just above $70 million in 2005.
