The chart illustrates how the amount of renewable energy in total energy supply was used in 4 countries from 1997 to 2010.
It is clear that, the percentage of renewable sources in Australia fall down through the given period, the opposite trend occurred to Sweden with the number of energy rose constantly and the same pattern could be seen in Iceland. Over the above-mentioned tendency, the number of Turkey witnessed an upward trend.
In 1997, almost 50% of energy was generated from renewable energy came from Iceland, furthermore, nearly 40% was accounted for Turkey. But only nearly 10% energy supply was from both Australia and Sweden. In the next period, the number of Iceland and Sweden kept increasing steadily to under slightly 10% and 60% for Sweden and Iceland respectively in 2000, in the rest of the given period, the number of Sweden nearly hit 10% and Australia reached its peak at 70% in 2010.
Regarding Australia, its figure decreased lightly to nearly 5% in 2010. While the number of Turkey went up and down throughout the period, it went up above 40% in 2000 and then, dropped down to almost 30% in 2010.
