The line chart illustrates the employment patterns with 5 types in the USA from 1930 to 2010.
Overall, the figure for industrial, sales and office, technical and other services showed an upward trend, whereas that for farming, fishing and foresting declined over the period.
It is clear that the number of labour force in farming, fishing and foresting started at under 80 percent in 1930, it was also the highest rate in 5 types of jobs at the beginning. Then, that decreased gradually to 60 percent in 1970. During 5 years later, that figure experienced a fast falling of 60 percent and reached the lowest point at 0 percent in the last year, 2010.
About the figure for remaining labour force : technical, sales and office, industrial, other services employees increased slightly through 80 years, a rise of approximately 35 percent. The volume of people who worked in industrial and technical were the highest in the last year and exactly the same just under 40 percent. The ratio of sales, office and other services account for 20 percent and 15 percent, respectively.
