You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
• describe the situation • explain your problems and why it is difficult to work • say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear sir,
I am writing to draw your attention to the issues arising due to shared accommodation with a room-mate. I have been allocated with a room on 26th Dec 2020 in the college and my room number is 334 on the third floor.
I am living with Anna but I have found couple of problems. she usually slept late at night and turned on the music for the night and kept the tube lights on while I am sleeping. I have to prepare my lessons and assignments, but I have found her resistant to understand my situation. she sometimes annoyed me a lot by concealing my stuff. I have the evidence that she has done that, because I have a video-recording on the hidden camera in situ.
Despite of warning her about the bad habits, she did not take a notice of it and never tried to coöperate with me. I have been living with her but found it so difficult to live in. I could not scored well in my quiz and mid-terms.
Now, it is the time for my final exams and I do not want to repeat the same grades. I am requesting you to change my accommodation and transfer me to another room on the same floor.
it will be highly appreciated if you take a notice and transfer me to another room before my finals.
Waiting for your positive response.
Yours sincerely,
