The table below shows daily oil production in 4 countries from 2000 to 2004.
The given table compares four countries in terms of the number of oil barrels produced a day over the period between 2000 and 2004.
Overall, it is clear that at the end of the period shown, each day in Nigeria produced the most amount of oil. Additionally, while the capability of producing oil a day in Congo sharply decreased, the opposite trends were recorded in the remaining countries.
To be more specific, in 2000, Congo held the highest number of oil barrels per day with the number of 275,000, which was considerably higher than the second, Nigeria, with 205,000. During the rest of this period, while Nigeria experienced the fluctuation, which resulted in the number of 213,000 in 2004, there was a significant decline in this figure for Congo to 203,000 barrels a day.
Regards to the other countries, just 5000 oil barrels each day were made in Somalia in 2000 while Chad did not produce any oil at that time. Until 2003, Chad had 8,000 daily barrels, which was still far less than the number of Somalia, with 21,000 barrels. Nevertheless, the amount of oil production a day in Chad rose steadily to 50,000 barrels, which shared the same value with Somalia in 2004.
