The turnovers of coffee that was Fairtrade – labelled in UK accounted 1.5 million of euros in 1999 before there was gradual increase to 20 million of euros in 2004. Besides, the sales of coffee of Switzerland in 2004 was twice higher than in 1999, about 6 and 3 million of euros. The sales of bananas that was Fairtrade – labelled in Belgium was lowest in 1999 but the opposite was true for Denmark in 2004, particularly 0.6 million of euros in 1999 and 0.9 million of euros in 2004. In addition to, the rate of income of bananas in Sweden and Denmark fell by 1 and 0.9 million of euros in 2004 while those in other counties rose to 47, 5.5 and 4 million of euros in 2004.
