The graph below shows the percentage of Australian exports to 4 countries from 1990 to 2012.
Given is the line graph depicting the proportion of Australians who find employment in four foreign countries namely Japan, the US, China and India over a period of 22 years.
It is conspicuous that the percentage of Australia workers working in India and China saw an upward trend while the reverse was true for that of employees in the other two nations. Additionally, Australian exports to India accounted for the lowest proportion despite several swings.
Standing at about 1% in 1990, the percentage of people working in India stayed unchanged during the next ten years before soaring exponentially and reached a high point at 7% in 2010 and then witnessed a significant decrease at 5% in the last year. Similarly, an drastical rocket was seen in the figure of workers who employ in China from 2% in the first year to 27% and became the highest proportion as opposed to three remaining countries throughout the year.
By contrast, there was a dramatic plunge in the figure of Australian exports to Japan and the US. Starting at the most dominant point with around 26%, the proportion of workers in the former countries experienced a constant plummet and hit a low of 16% in 2012. Moreover, in spite of some fluctuations around 11% to 5% in 2010, the figure of exporters to the US saw a recovery and accounted for 7% at the end of the time frame.
