Hello.
Hello.
I have a question about this type of questions. i have listened other test takers and noticed that some people add details which were not said in the lecture. For instance, http://www.testbig.com/comment/56597
He added that someone has played for 10-15 years. My question is what is the purpose of this type of question? Should I paraphrase the lecture or try to convey the meaning as close as possible to the original?
We didn't get 'someone has
We didn't get 'someone has played for 10-15 years' in the speech. The purpose is to ask us paraphrasing the lecture but pick up only the main features. This is the pattern for Q6:
Introduction. something like 'The professor is talking about....'. (about two sentences in 10-15 seconds)
Example 1, blabla... about 20-25 seconds //Don't spend too much time on the first example
Example 2, blabla... about 20-25 seconds
