On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortunately, you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter
• describe the item you lost
• explain how you lost it
• tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Dear Sir,
I am writing to inform you that I would like to make a claim for a lost Ipad using my travel insurance policy. My insurance policy number is G214450.
I had a great stay at the hotel Taj during my vacation last week, from 21st March to 24th of March. I had my Ipad with me all the time. It was made by apple, Ipad 4G, 12 inches, and was black in color. It also had solid black casing to protect it from shocks and water. It was fairly new and bought at Rs.40000.
I remember using it for the last time when I was reading online book in the hotel lobby. At that time, I received a call on my cellphone but due to poor connection in the lobby, I stepped outside. I believe I forgot it on the couch while going out to attend a call. I have already informed hotel management regarding this incident but I haven’t heard from them in last few days.
As my electronic devices are protected under travel insurance I would like to make a claim for it. Therefore, please send me information about the guidelines of making a claim. You can also email me or call me to discuss the details. I am expecting a quicker response from you to proceed further.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Nilesh Shah
