The line chart illustrates the number of visitors visited Malaysia and Dubai over a 9-year period from 1995 to 2003.
Overall, it can be seen that both countries Dubai and Malaysia increased significantly in terms of tourists visiting. However, from 2001 Malaysia showed a decreasing trend, while the figures in Dubai grew more visitors than Malaysia.
The number of visitors visiting Malaysia started with 100,000 in 1995 and then it increased gradually by approximately 10,000 visitors in 1996. After 1996, the figure of tourists went up moderately and reached to around 320,000 in 2001. However, from 2001 to 2003 the figure declined considerably by about 80,000.
About 40,000 tourists traveled to Dubai in 1995. Before it went up to just above 160,000 tourists in 1998, there was a gradual decrease in 1996 by 10,000 visitors. Similarly, from 1998 to 1999 there was a steady decline by around 20,000 in the number of visiting tourists in Dubai. Then, the figure of visitors rose dramatically to 320,000 from 1999 to 2001. However, before the figure reached to 400,00 in 2003, there was a gradual fall in 2002 by roughly 10,000 tourists.
