Dear John,
It’s exciting to know you’d be visiting Manchester for a few days come 7th of June. Atleast, we’d get the opportunity to share old memories after ten years of staying apart. I would like you to help get some books from my brother, Nelson who stays at Ikeja, few meters away from your house.
The first is a hymn book which I use for my choral lessons. Since I arrived Manchester, I’ve not been able to get the book from any bookshop and this has affected my singing ability. The other books are my tutorial notes which were beneficial to me when I organized summer lessons back then at the university. The books aren’t heavy and will not occupy space in your luggage.
Since you’d arrive at mid-day, I’d suggest I pick you at the airport myself so we can see a movie at the cinema before driving home. You’d get the opportunity to see the hub of the town.
See you soon.
Cheers,
Chisom
