In the alike year, people aged 25-37 underwent a mild drop to 10% before plunging to 0%due to the forecast in 2050. At the end of the period, the figure for the 65 or more age category also fell down to 55%.
Regarding the growth in the population of New Zealand, the ratio of children and middle-aged people both showed a surge over course of 100 years with some fluctuations. In 1950, nearly a quarter of people aged 38-45, which was 5 times higher than the figure for the 0-14 age bracket, at 5%. 40 years later, a skyrocketing trend was seen in the population of New Zealanders who were 38-45 years old, followed by a reduction in 2000 at exactly 40% until the end of the period. However, that of children hovered around 5% before peaking at 20% in 2050 as being predicted.
