The given graph below illustrates the process of how solar panels provide electricity for domesitc utilization. Overall, it can be seen that the process consists of five main stages and devices which includes solar panels, an inverter, electrical panel, utility meter, and utility grid.
To begin with, there are five phases in order to get electricity from solar energy for local use. Firstly, the solar panels absorbs energy from the sun and turns this energy to DC current. Then, an inverter, which is connected to the solar panels, converts DC current to AC current, also, it controls the electricity and production. The third stage is where the electrical panel distributes the electric power to the local residences.
Moreover, if there is any excess solar electricity, it will flow bach to the grid through the utility meter. The final phase is where the utility grid is reposnible for providing power when people exceed the amount produced by their solar panels.
