An international development organization, in response to a vitamin A deficiency among people in the impoverished nation of Tagus, has engineered a new breed of millet high in vitamin A. While seeds for this new type of millet cost more, farmers will be paid subsidies for farming the new variety of millet. Since millet is already a staple food in Tagus, people will readily adopt the new variety. To combat vitamin A deficiency, the government of Tagus should do everything it can to promote this new type of millet.

How much more expensive is this crop for the customers and the quantum of subsidies to the consumers only?

This is a significant question as, if the per capita income of the people of Tagus is already high then Vitamin A deficiency can easily be corrected through having other full quality foods such as meats etc which are slightly expensive.
Is there any other nutrients too in this crop?
This question is important to ensure that apart from Vitamin A this crop doesn't loose out on any other vital and essential nutrients present in the existing crop, as this if that is not the case then this crop since being a stable crop of Tagus can lead to some other deficiencies in the population
