This bar graph illustrates details about the amount of time spent teaching in four continents at three levels of schooling.
Overall, it is obvious that teaching in high school occupied the largest amount of hours in both given countries, whereas most teachers spent the least time on primary learners
It can be seen that the figure of hours used for teaching primary students was nearly the same in Japan and Iceland, for about nearly 600 hours a year, while America had the highest amount of hours spent on graded school teaching compared with other continents, practically 700 hours every year.
It is clear that the USA had the most hours used for educating high school students. Although Spain and Iceland experienced nearly the same amount of time teaching senior schools, about 900 hours in a year, they were still less than America. On the contrary, the hours devoted to teaching senior students in Japan were the least, about 600 hours each year.
