How to make a good first impression on coworkers

The first impression is very important for building relationships with the other one. It might be decided the success of the conversation, especially in working environment. Therefore, I give you some tips for making a good first impression on co-workers.

Firstly, well-dressed is very important when making a good first impression. Your physical appearance is usually the first point of reference for people. When you walk into a company, your expression and attire set the tone before you even greet anyone. Therefore, you have to wear the right clothing to suit your body shape and style. If you wear something that makes you feel good, you will look and more confident. You do not need to wear the latest model suit.

Secondly, you need to have confidence. By being confident, you will have an easier time meeting new people and will make others feel more comfortable around you. For example, some actions show confidence such as smile, speak clearly,… Besides, smiling can decrease stress in conversation and make you look more friendly.

Finally, you have to prove that you are a good listener. When someone is talking to you, you want to
show him or her that you are listening and paying attention, try to maintain eye contact when they are speaking and try not to get distracted. That will help them feel that they are respected and create a good relationship.

In conclusion, the first impression is really important. I hope my tips will help you.
