Writing task 1 (a letter)
Write a letter to a friend telling him/her that you’re going back to your home town and you want to give him/her some furniture. Please say
– why you thought about him/her
– describe the furniture
– suggest a way for him/her to get it

Dear Shikha,

Hope you are doing good. I am writing this letter to inform that I am going back to my home town as I got a transfer there. So I don't want to move with all furniture because I already have fully furnished house there. I want to give you some furniture before I leave.

When I decided to shift after receiving transfer orders to my hometown, the first thought came in my mind was about a furniture which I bought few months ago. I remember you visited my place few days back and you liked some of the things which includes couch, TV cabinet and music system. All these things will fit well in your big room.

I am leaving for my hometown next month so it would be great if we can meet before that. Also I will hand over keys of my flat to our next door neighbour. I have already told them about you. Please collect keys from them and they will help you with furniture shifting.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Kind Regards,

Aasha
