Fossil fuels are the main source of energy around the world today. In some countries, the use of alternative sources of energy is replacing fossil fuels.
Is this a positive or negative development?
For the majority of the world, fossil fuels are widely used as the major resources for energy production, while other renewable resources are becoming the main focus of energy replacement in a few nations. From my point of view, this is a positive switch, offering a great benefit for the global economy and an ideal approach to tackling environmental issues.
The first noticeable positivity when shifting to sustainable resources is that the flow of the economy is globally well-maintained. In order to meet the high demand for electrical household utilities, most of the electricity generation comes from the excessive exploitation of coal, resulting in a shortage of natural sources. This leads to a tremendous price increase in various types of electric usage, creating financial chaos as the cost outweighs the average income. However, there are no such cases of price adjustment when solar and wind power are put to use as the main source of energy creation, and the worldwide economy is set back to be balanced because they are extremely abundant in the atmosphere, ready for over several millennia of exploitation.
Further, this transition for regenerated-source integration acts as a solid shield, combating the dilemmic environmental deterioration. Conventional energy utilization, such as coal, can be a contributory factor to air pollution and respiratory health issues because millions of tons of detrimental gases are emitted into the atmosphere. When coal is burned, it produces various types of pollutants in the air, such as CO2 and nitrogen, which can have serious physical effects such as dizziness, headaches, and breathing difficulties if an individual inhales them accidentally. Shifting to renewable energy can improve air quality and mitigate harmful emissions due to the fact that it is a fresher and more environmentally friendly alternative, thereby protecting human health and the environment.
In conclusion, the attitude towards the shift to renewable sources is a positive step. It is not only a fundamental element for the global economy, managing stability and striking growth, but also an optimal solution for environmental hazards, reducing pollution, and fostering human health.
