Television advertising directed toward young children (aged two to five) should not be allowed.
With the rapid development of technology in modern society. Business strategies and methods have been filled in the competition of every industry. Advertise is the primary method for increasing benefits, and exactly a lot of companies use some extra content for tempting people's eyes even if some information might be noxious to children. However, I consider that television advertising for young children is unnecessary to be banned.
Firstly, children's education should be provided by their parents instead of the government’s limitation. Parents always are their first teachers in every child's life, comparing these advertising’s negative influence on them, cultivating from parents could provide more help, and advertising could be a small factor to a child does not get a bright future, but it will never be the directly necessary reason. There are a lot of parents who would like to attribute the failure in education to others, not themselves, which exactly is a kind of scare of cannot facing their failure.
Secondly, it is not absolute that every advertisement is noxious to children who are in absorbing and studying outside knowledge, there still is some positive advertising that could be involved in their development. Now, some advertisements have started to add some educative content like protecting the environment, caring for others, and studying hard, undoubtedly, it is full of educative meaning for children’s future.
Consequently, the government should not directly inhibit every advertising facing children, which will never be a significant factor in fostering a bad kid, their parents would have the whole responsibility. Moreover, there are still some positive advertisements that could provide much help to children.
