The table below shows the weight of people in a particular country from 1999 to 2009.
The table compares the percentage of males and females about body condition in a particular nation between 1999 and 2009.
Generally, the proportion of the person having a normal weight was the largest in both genders during the research period. In addition, the overweight group of women increased, the opposite was true for men.
As can be seen from the table, in 1999, 49% of girls had a normal weight, while the figure for those who were underweight stood at about half of that percent. A similar pattern was seen in boys but the figures were smaller, at 41% and 22% respectively. The number of gentlemen owning the weight exceeding allowed was 30%, compared to 18% of lady.
Over the following five years, three weigh groups of women experienced an upward trend, while that only happened in average weigh of men. Details, the rates of standard weight males and females both rose in 2004, to 51% and 48%, respectively. The amount of fat girls also increased slightly to 21%, while the figure for boys fell sharply by 7% to 23% in 2004. Similarly, underweight females and their counterparts went through the same thing, at 29% and 20% sequentially. Over the five years ensuing, the proportion of standard weight and overweight of both genders decreased to 47% and 19% respectively in 2009. However, the percentage of underweight lady went down to 28%, while the data for gentlemen went up to 23% in 2009.
