The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar cane.
The diagram demonstrates the progress by which sugar be made by sugar cane. Overall, the process involves 3 main stages with prior to harvesting by farmers, followed by a transformation sugar cane and ending with product of sugar.
The sugar canes are cultivated which will be experienced from 12 to 18 months in the early stage. After the mature plant, the field will be harvested either by hand or agriculture machinery, sugar canes will then crushed into a grinder which made into the juice.
At the subsequent stage of the process, the juice is purified into the limestone filter, following that purified juice will be poured into an evaporator which put it under extreme heat to get syrup out of it. The process continues with syrup will be separated into sugar crystals using a centrifuge. Once that happened, sugar is taken into drying and cooling which the last process be ready to use sugar, the final product are then packages and sell on the market.
