The diagram depicts how carbonated drinks are produced.
Overall, there are five main steps of manufacturing carbonated water. The process starts with pumping raw water into the factory and ends with delivering those boxes to supermarkets.
At the first stage of the process, raw water is pumped into the filter which is used to move water to a water softener later. After being softened, this flow moves through the chemicals and then is pumped into electric heaters to make it evaporate. Stage number 2 continues with putting this flow through a pipe to cool and after that carbon dioxide is evaporated by a machine to create carbonated water.
At the third stage of the process, carbonated water is floated through a pipe to lead to a tank which is used to blend produced water with color, syrup, and flavor. Following this, carbonated water is filtered and filled into bottles and cans. The process finishes with packaging these containers into boxes and delivering them to supermarkets.
