The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981,1991 and 2001.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The visuals reveal the information regarding how a specific school in the UK spent money annually in the three selected years.
In particular, as is observed from the image, despite the wide range of fluctuations except insurance and other workers’ salaries, teachers’ salaries remained to have the highest proportion while insurance was the least one.
These data resources clearly communicate that in 10 years’ time, teachers’ salaries witnessed an appreciable acceleration from 40% to exactly a half of total school spending. Similar patterns are evident in tools and insurances with the ranges of 5% and 1%, respectively. However, contrary to the aforementioned groups, investment on furniture and equipment dropped dramatically from the 3rd place (15%) to merely the 4th place (5%).
Turning to 2001, in spite of experiencing the highest rate (18%) of uplift in the percentage of money spent on furniture and equipment and the mild decrease (5%) of the salaries of teachers, the former figure (23%) could not beat the 1st ranked of the later one(45%). A similar fashion could be seen in the insurance aspect with a moderate rise from 3% to 8% while the other resources slightly lull to 9%. Eventually, other worker’s salaries witnessed a stable climb with gradual acceleration from 28% to 15% over the period.
