Thirty years later, while the figure enrolments almost quintupled to 1,046, the percentage of female students was lower by 10%. However, 2008 witnessed an inverse trend in the ratio of gender, as over half of 6,377 new students were female.
Turning to the remaining information, it is noteworthy 50% of new enrolments in 1928 came from within 30 miles of Bristol, and this figure experienced a sharp decline to 14% in 1958, compared to merely around 1.5% in the final year.
