The first pie chart depicts how much money a children’s charity earned from six different sources in the USA, whereas the other chart represents the amount of spending allocated for three distinct ways. In highlight, most income was received from donated food while almost all expenditures were to operate program service.
Firstly, it is true that the charity earned 86.6% of whole income ($53,561,580) from the donation of food. Differently, another source from community merely contributed approximately one-tenth the sum, followed by 2.2% from charity event. Meanwhile, the incomes from the three other sources consisting of other income, investment and government grants ranged from below 0.4% to 0.2%. Secondly, from $53,224,896 of whole amount of expenditure, the charity organization funded the program spending almost all this amount for service, while fund-raising event and the official merely cost money count on 2.6% and 1.6%, respectively.
In conclusion, it is clear that by calculating total income and expenditure, the charity organisation for children still had approximately $330,000 of unspent money.
