The maps below show the changes that have taken place at the waterfront area of a town called Darwin between 2009 and 2014.
The illustrations detail modification that occurred in a town named Darwin from 2009 to 2014.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the town became more residential with more households. In addition, the most noticeable change was the conversion of industrial area into trees and the areas saw no change were school, lake and swimming pool.
In 2009, there were only industrial area and 3 residential buildings to the south of the town, while in 2014, the field for industry was replaced by a number of trees. Moreover, the area was also separated by a footpath leading from west to east to make way for pedestrians. It is interesting to note that there were the addition of university and more residential buildings which were adjacent to the old ones.
Another striking alteration was the transformation of the industrial area surrounded by the circular footpath into a new swimming pool nearby a lake and a row of trees. Besides, no change was made to the 2 swimming pools outside the footpath, school, convention center and fishing area. Finally, the year 2009 had not had harbor on the sea in the eastern side of the town, but the next ten year saw the introduction of this infrastructure.
