Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I will not be able to attend the interview for my master's degree program selection for data science at your school. And, I hereby apologize in advance to not come on the scheduled date of the interview.
I had applied for a master's course program in data science at your institution which is one of the well-known schools in the country. My interview date was scheduled for 7th July 2021. However, I could not come on the mentioned date because of the heavy workload that came suddenly yesterday in my office. There will be ongoing audits in the next month, due to this, I have to complete the remaining work before next month which will consume extra working hours at my workplace. In this case, I would not be able to come from 7th June to 15th June 2021.
If there is any chance of rescheduling my interview, I urge you please provide a date after 15th June 2021. I would be able to attend on any date at any time after 15th June because my work would have been completed for the month and I will be free from work in the current month. I hope you would understand my problem and would provide a convenient date and time for the interview.
Furthermore, could you please update how much time I will be spending in giving an interview to an interviewer. Apart from this, will there be any aptitude or technical tests that will be required to give, so that, I can prepare for the same before appearing for the interview? I would be grateful if you will share the details with me as early as possible.
I will be looking forward to hearing a prompt response to this letter.
Yours faithfully,
Shwatank Bhasin
