Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Manjusha C Nair and I am writing this letter to keep you informed that I will not be able to join the new job offered by you in your company in the next week i.e on 25th of November as stated in the offer letter, which I received last week.
As I am currently working for Bio-Com company, I have been involved in a one year project work which has begun since eleven months and I am leading the team and have certain tasks to be completed in three weeks time from now. As I am committed to this project, it will be unfair on my part to move from this job right now.
Basically I am encountering three main problems.Firstly I need to complete my pending project and submit the report to my higher authority. Secondly, I will have to serve at least one month's notice period post my resignation.. Thirdly, the financial settlements will also take a month and certainly my presence is required in the office to complete all formalities.
I would however be able to join your company at the earliest by December 1st i.e. two weeks from now. I regret for the inconvenience caused.
Kindly consider this as a request.
